Drought Affected Your Vegetable or Fruit Crops in Past Growing Seasons?
You May Want to Consider Using Drip Irrigation! A Special Hands-on Demonstration Will Be Presented to Give You the Facts You Need to Know about Setting up a Drip Irrigation System
The purpose of this meeting is to review what drip irrigation options and strategies vegetable and fruit growers should be considering for the coming growing season. Trevor Hardy, of Brookdale Fruit Farm and George Hamilton, UNH Cooperative Extension will present a hands-on demonstration on setting up a drip irrigation system. Starting from the river, Trevor and George will work their way to the field describing the various components of the drip irrigation system.
The meeting will begin at 3:00 p.m. and will run until around 6:00 p.m. We will be starting at the farm stand and will be going out to the field at 3:15 p.m.
Come prepared for the weather conditions of the day. For more information or individuals requiring special accommodations in order to participate, contact Olivia Saunders or George Hamilton.
